This week over 200 students at Northwood Primary enjoyed an inspiring sustainability workshop led by Roberts Recycling.

Northwood students enjoy recycling workshopp

Working together with knowsley council

Our Director Paul, Marketing Lead Lewis, and Marketing Intern Nathan were joined by Grace and Jamie from Knowsley Council’s Recycling Engagement Team to speak with students.

As part of Roberts Recycling’s ongoing partnership with Knowsley Council, the team worked together with different year groups to share insights into how textile recycling operates across the borough.

Learning about the journey of donated clothing, the environmental benefits of recycling, and how their efforts contribute to Knowsley’s wider sustainability goals, the students left school excited and motivated to recycle their unwanted clothes.

RECYCLE 4 SCHOOL

After learning about our Recycle 4 School programme and how they can help recycle clothing, Northwood Primary students were excited to get involved and start collecting textiles, to help raise funds for their school eco projects and divert textiles from landfill.

The initiative not only helps schools raise money through textile recycling but also teaches children about how their choices can make a positive impact in their community and environment.
