Roberts Recycling Director John Roberts and Fab Materials CEO John Somerville recently visited a specialist facility to progress the next stage of transforming low-grade textile waste into a potential MDF-style board material.
The visit represented an important moment for the project, giving both teams the chance to see the latest hands-on testing and assess how early prototypes are developing. This work forms part of our ongoing commitment to finding new, scalable circular solutions for non-rewearable textiles.
While the technical process remains confidential, we are encouraged by the progress being made and are continuing to explore how this innovative approach could be developed further in the months ahead.
