What An Awesome Autumn of Textiles Recycling
Throughout October and November, hundreds of schools and community groups across Wales took part in our Dragon Bags Autumn of Action campaign.
Together they collected an incredible amount of unwanted textiles ready to be reused and recycled. And most importantly, diverted from landfill.
Alongside their clothing and textile collections, many of our school and community partners also got involved in our creative upcycling activities, helping students learn more about sustainability in a fun and engaging way.
And the Winner Is…
Llangors Church in Wales Primary School!
Llangors Church in Wales Primary School was randomly selected from all participating Dragon Bags partners and will receive the £100 Autumn of Action Champion prize.
A huge thank you to all schools, charities and community groups that took part this autumn. Your efforts continue to make a meaningful difference to both fundraising and the environment.
’Tis the Season to be Sustainable
Our next clothes collection campaign launches next week, with a free festive recycling fun pack filled with classroom activities available to download and promotional posters to help schools and groups to promote their Christmas drive.
Important: Final Collection Date for 2025
To ensure your bags are collected before Christmas, the last date to book a collection is Friday 19 December 2025.
Any bookings made after this date will be collected when our team returns in the new year, with collections resuming from Monday 5 January 2026.

Coming Soon – New Year Prize Draw
Our next £100 prize draw will take place in January 2026 and will cover all collections completed from late November (after the Autumn of Action prize draw) through to the end of January.
