Autumn of Action 2025 is here, encouraging schools and community groups to boost textile recycling and make the most of their collection opportunities this term.

Running throughout October and November, the campaign helps you plan a collection day, access creative classroom activities and take part in this year’s prize draw.

Autumn of Action 2025 runs throughout October and November. Your school or community group is challenged to:

Plan and promote one textile collection day in either month
Complete the October or November upcycling classroom activities
Share photos of your work across the months

pRIZE DRAW

Collections are automatically recorded through our system, and all participating Recycle 4 School and Recycle 4 Community sites will be entered for the £100 Autumn of Action Champion prize plus runner-up prizes.

Winners will be chosen based on their effort in collecting clothes and completing the upcycling activities.

Every group that takes part in the activities will also receive a digital Upcycling Certificate upon request, and all schools will be entered into a draw to win a free Textile Champions Educational Assembly delivered by Roberts Recycling.

How to Take Part

Choose a date in October or November for students, parents, or supporters to bring in their bagged clothing donations.
Book your collection with the Roberts Recycling team for the same day or within the days following your donation.
Plan a classroom or community session to complete the October or November upcycling activities and take plenty of photos.
Promote your drive using the digital posters and parent or guardian letter included in your pack, and share it within your community.
Share your collection-day photos with Roberts Recycling so we can see your group in action.
