Inspiring the Next Generation to Tackle Textile Waste
We’re delighted to introduce Textile Talks, a brand new digital education initiative launching across our Recycle 4 School and Dragon Bags partner schools in 2026.
Textile Talks represents the next step in our education journey, created exclusively for our school partners and those looking to join our programmes.

This free online session is designed for eco clubs, student councils and teachers who want to explore textile recycling in more depth and understand how pupils can play a meaningful role in shaping a more sustainable future. It is engaging, accessible and tailored specifically for primary learners at KS1 and KS2 level.
Pupils are given the opportunity to ask questions, explore the wider issue of clothing waste and understand how everyday choices connect to global environmental impact.
Through live, interactive sessions delivered by our team, pupils discover:
• Why textile recycling and reuse pathways matter
• How clothing waste is becoming a growing global challenge
• The importance of keeping garments in circulation for longer
• The role their school community can play in responsible collections
Supporting Schools with sustainability
Textile Talks is available to both existing partner schools and those looking to join our textile recycling programmes, Recycle 4 School and Dragon Bags.
You can find out more about our programmes by visiting their dedicated websites:
Recycle 4 School – England based schools and community groups
Dragon Bags – Wales based schools and community groups
It provides a practical way for schools to strengthen their sustainability focus, empower pupil voice and bring environmental learning to life in a relevant, real-world context.
We have already delivered our first session of the year, and the enthusiasm, curiosity and ideas shared by pupils reinforced exactly why initiatives like this are so important.
Join the Textile Talks Waiting List
By introducing Textile Talks, we are creating more opportunities for schools to engage meaningfully with textile recycling, inspire leadership within eco groups and student councils, and help young people understand that their actions genuinely matter.
We look forward to engaging even more students throughout 2026 and continuing to support communities in tackling textile waste together.
If your school would like to get involved and book a session, we would love to hear from you – please contact team@robertsrecycling.co.uk
