Robert’s invest in brand new cardboard recycling baler
Robert’s Recycling are excited to announce the newest addition at at Halebank, our brand new high-capacity baler, who we’ve called Big Blue.
At Roberts, we are constantly aiming to recycle smarter and more efficiently. Every week, we see thousands of cardboard boxes arrive at our warehouses from various sources, from shipping returns to overstocks. Our new baler works by using powerful hydraulic pressure, compressing and baling mass amounts of cardboard into organised, ready to transport bundles. These tidied bundles are then loaded and transported to specialist recycling facilities, where the cardboard is given a second life!
Robert’s are proud to be a multi-material recyclers, helping our partners manage their packaging waste efficiently and keeping materials circulating. By upgrading our equipment, we want to improve the quality of the bales and speed up the process, making recycling faster and supporting Roberts 0% to landfill mission.
