Supporting employee wellbeing through on-site health initiatives
We recently welcomed Kerry Grimes, Health Improvement Practitioner at Halton Borough Council to our Halebank headquarters as part of the NHS Health Checks in the Workplace programme.

The visit provided colleagues across the business with the opportunity to access NHS Health Checks on site, making it easier for team members to prioritise their health and wellbeing as part of the working day.
The programme is designed to help identify potential health risks early, offering practical advice and support to maintain long-term health.
The visit also highlighted how Roberts Recycling is investing in a healthier, more active workplace environment from the outset, including a trip to our on-site staff gym, which features sustainable flooring produced from QC failure trainers that were unsuitable for rewear and recycled through Roberts Recycling’s own processes.

By combining employee wellbeing initiatives with circular design choices, Roberts Recycling continues to demonstrate how creating a positive workplace culture can go hand in hand with sustainability in action.
Roberts Recycling would like to thank Kerry Grimes and the Health Improvement team at Halton Borough Council for delivering this valuable service and supporting local businesses to improve workforce wellbeing.
