Charitable Impact
Over the past 15 years, our textile recycling programmes have generated over £10 million for charities, including more than £2.5 million in the past year alone.
These funds support hospices, children’s charities, community groups, and countless good causes across the UK.

Supporting Schools
We work with thousands of schools across England and Wales, helping them recycle textiles while raising vital funds.
Our collections provide a simple, effective way for schools to reduce waste and create new resources for education and community benefit.
Textile Champions
Our dedicated recycling education programme for schools has been delivered in five schools in the past year, reaching over 1,000 students with interactive assemblies that bring the story of textile recycling to life.
Through hands-on activities pupils learn about the environmental impact of clothing waste and how small actions can make a big difference. This programme aims to inspires the next generation and strengthens schools’ commitment to sustainability.

Community Partnerships
We are proud to support innovative community projects that reimagine textiles in creative ways. Recent highlights include:
- Working with Make CIC on the Textile Transformation project, exploring how waste fabrics can be up-cycled into new designs with community programmes.
- Supply Make CIC with textiles donations, where their creative team imagined new up-cycled products for Ecotricity
- Collaborating with Academy of St Nicholas and St Cleopas on a fashion shows project, providing textiles, creative workshops and recycling education
- Hosting site visits to our HQ, where students and community groups can see textile recovery in action.
Academic Partnerships
We believe in working closely with academic institutions to support research, innovation, and the development of the next generation of sustainability leaders. By opening our doors to universities and colleges, we provide real-world insight into the challenges and opportunities of textile recycling.
- Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU): We are working with LJMU across a variety of projects, from student research and collaborative workshops to exploring new approaches in waste innovation and circular economy solutions. This partnership is expanding and will continue to grow in the coming years.
- Riverside College: We support courses in sustainability and employability by providing talks, site visits, and career sessions that give students a first-hand view of the recycling industry.
- De Montfort University: We have contributed to research in fashion and sustainability, providing operational access and insight to help academics explore solutions for textile waste.
By engaging with both universities and colleges, we connect industry and academia – helping to shape future thinking on circularity while inspiring students with practical experience and opportunities.

Causes we care about
Our team also takes pride in supporting causes directly through fundraising and events, from Paul’s re-cycle ride to India and running the Liverpool Marathon for Zoe’s Place, to participating in dragon boat races and football tournaments for our charity partners.
These efforts sit alongside the millions generated through our recycling programmes, reinforcing our commitment to making a difference.
Fundraising Through Recycling
Many of our charity and community partners raise funds directly by working with us to recycle textiles. Learn more about how your organisation can take part on our Fundraising Through Recycling.
