We were pleased to welcome representatives from Knowsley Council to our headquarters this week, as part of ongoing conversations around expanding access to textile reuse and recycling across the region.
This visit was particularly special for our team, as Roberts Recycling began life just over 15 years ago with our very first clothing collection services in Kirkby.
From those early days to now operating at scale across the UK, it was a great opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come – while looking ahead to how we can support even greater impact locally.
We were delighted to host Philippa Sandells, Head of Waste and Streetscene Services (Communities and Neighbourhoods), and her fantastic team.
During the visit, we shared an insight into our operations, facilities and future plans to help communities across Knowsley and beyond reduce waste and give textiles a second life.
We’re excited about the possibilities ahead and look forward to building on this positive relationship.
