We’re delighted to share that Roberts Recycling Ltd has been named Exporter of the Year at the 2025 Halton Business Awards, hosted by Halton Chamber of Commerce at the DCBL Stadium on 13 June.
This prestigious award, sponsored by Sedulo, recognises our unwavering commitment to international growth and textile reuse. The gala evening welcomed over 500 local business leaders and was compered by BBC North West anchor Roger Johnson.
It was also a special moment to take to the stage with members of our team Al, Vlad, Pete, marking another important milestone in our journey and recognising the work that goes in every day behind the scenes.
“To receive this award in our home borough makes it even more meaningful,” said Director, John Roberts. “We’ve grown from a small family business into one of the UK’s leading textile exporters. That’s all down to the drive, energy and commitment of our team. It was great to celebrate the win together.”
From our base in Halebank, Cheshire, we export more than 15,000 tonnes of reusable goods every year to partners across Europe, Africa, and Asia, helping extend the life of clothing, reduce landfill, and raise millions for charitable causes.
