Marketing and Operations – Paid Summer Internship
About Us:
Roberts Recycling Ltd is one of the UK’s leading textile recyclers and exporters, working with thousands of schools, charities, communities and many of the world’s leading fashion brands to divert unwanted clothing from landfill.
The Role:
This is a short-term paid internship with a dual opportunity to work in day-to-day business operations through administrative support and to support the marketing function and external communications.
It’s ideal for candidates who are highly organised and looking to gain practical experience in a global business specialising in textiles recycling and export.
PLEASE NOTE – THIS ROLE IS BASED ON SITE AT ROBERTS RECYCLING HQ IN WIDNES.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Support (Primary Focus):
- Assisting with general admin tasks related to site operations
- Organising and updating project files
- Marketing Support (Secondary Focus):
- Drafting website news items and captions for social media post
- Assisting with the creation of newsletters and resources for partners
- Helping capture and post social media content
- Reporting engagement where required
Who We’re Looking For
- Proactive, reliable and comfortable working on tasks independently
- Confident or looking to become more familiar with digital tools including: Google Docs / Sheets / Canva
- A good communicator, verbally and written
