Roberts Group International (RGI) has begun a new programme of machinery investment and engineering upgrades as we continue to strengthen our textile sorting and processing capabilities.
Focused on speed, capacity, innovation and compliance, the latest investment forms part of a wider programme designed to support the continued development of our operations and infrastructure.
The first new piece of equipment has now been completed, combining Italian design with Spanish craftsmanship, and is the first piece of machinery to be delivered in the new RGI colours and branding.
The new equipment has been developed through the collaboration of DAGA Equipment and PICVISA.
Bringing together DAGA’s specialist expertise in textile machinery design and engineering with PICVISA’s international expertise in intelligent sorting, optical technologies and automation, this supports RGI’s continued investment in the speed, capacity and technological capability of its operations.
The next stage of investment
This is the first in a series of machinery investments and engineering upgrades planned by RGI, reflecting our continued commitment to investing in the technology and infrastructure behind our textile operations.
As we continue to scale our sorting and grading capabilities, these investments will support increased capacity while helping us continue to develop how textiles are processed, sorted and directed towards their next use.
The programme also represents an important step in the ongoing development of the RGI brand, bringing our new visual identity into our operational environment for the first time.
The next stop is Barcelona, where the RGI team will see the equipment in action before it makes its journey to the UK.
