Roberts Group International (RGI) is pleased to announce that we have become a member of the Secondary Materials and Recycled Textiles Association (SMART), a global trade association representing the textile reuse and recycling industry.
As an international trade association, SMART strengthens the economic opportunities of its diverse membership by promoting the interdependence of the for-profit textile recycling industry segments and providing a common forum for networking, education and advocacy.
SMART is the leading industry voice promoting high standards and best practices for the reuse and recycling of textiles and related secondary materials. Its members play a critical role in reducing solid waste by collecting, reclaiming and closing the loop through processing, reusing, converting and distributing recyclable materials.
RGI’s membership reflects a strong alignment with SMART’s mission and values. As the textile sector continues to evolve, collaboration across the value chain is essential to building scalable, responsible and circular systems.
