Roberts Group International (RGI) was pleased to welcome friends and partners from Oxfam to our Widnes HQ for a day of collaboration, conversation and looking ahead.
Oxfam continues to be one of the most proactive, sustainable and innovative organisations we work with, and the visit provided an opportunity for both teams to come together, share ideas and discuss the next stage of our partnership.
Working together to keep textiles in circulation
Our partnership with Oxfam is built around a shared commitment to finding better ways to keep textiles in circulation and maximise their potential.
During the visit, the teams discussed current projects, shared insight from across the sector and explored future opportunities to build on the work we are already doing together.
These conversations are an important part of developing strong, long-term partnerships. By bringing different perspectives, expertise and ideas together, we can continue to identify new opportunities to improve how textiles are collected, sorted and directed towards their next use.

Looking ahead
The visit also provided an opportunity to look at some of the changes taking place at RGI HQ, including the development of our new garden and wider investment in our facilities and operations.
With the sun making an appearance and the new garden taking shape, it was also the perfect backdrop for a photo with RGI Directors Simon, John and Paul Roberts alongside the Oxfam team: Gary Henry, Andrew Flintoff, Cheryl Jenkinson, Penny Walker and Julie Tyrrell.
We look forward to continuing to work together and exploring what comes next.
