John Roberts stands beside a newly branded electric van at the Roberts Recycling headquarters.
John Roberts: Introducing the newest member of the fleet. I’m proud to say it’s another electric vehicle, and it’s the latest version. It’s got loads of advantages over the first models. Let’s talk about some of them.

John walks around the vehicle and points out its exterior details.
John Roberts: Firstly, we’re talking about greatly improved range. I think it’s nearly double the previous model, at nearly 200 miles. In addition to that, you’ve got an extra payload.
We’ve gone nice and simple with our signs: Recycle 4 School, Dragon Bags, the main Roberts Recycling brand and, of course, electric.
We’re proud to be members of the Charity Retail Association. We’re running out of space now for our Queen’s and King’s Awards.
This here reassures people that the vehicle is being constantly recorded and reviewed remotely, so we can monitor performance and usage.

Aerial footage follows the electric van across the Mersey Gateway bridge before returning to John and the vehicle at the headquarters.
John Roberts: We just feel that the electric vehicle really chimes with what we’re trying to do generally as a business. Of course, we’ve got solar panels on the roof, which means that this is even greener than your average electric vehicle, using glorious sunshine like today.
We’re passionate about caring for the environment, and having electric vans is a good way to show that. We want to limit the impact of what we do, and this is just a brilliant way.
We’re really proud to service our partners’ textile recycling needs, and having a fleet of fantastic electric vehicles fits that ethos of becoming more sustainable.
